Translation Services Available For Contacting Foster Families!
When we adopted from Guatemala, we contacted the foster mother once a month. This would normally be difficult for us as our Spanish is basic. However, we were fortunate enough to know Varinia Arcero. She is amazing! We would give her a detailed list of questions to ask and she would almost always have more information than we asked for. It is very difficult to trust that the person doing the translating is asking everything and that is not something you need to worry about with Vari. Another useful service she provides is translating your letters to the foster family if you send a package or just want to send a note of thanks. She really cares about the children and provides a wonderful service. The calls are set up as a 3 way conference call so you can hear everything and ask last minute questions in case you forget something. Feel free to email us to set up something with Vari.
